Refund Policy

1. Credit-Based Service
CriteriaI operates on a credit-based model. Each evaluation consumes credits from your balance. Credits are included with your subscription plan and are non-transferable.
2. Used Credits
Credits that have been used to generate evaluations are non-refundable. Each evaluation involves computational costs (AI processing, embedding generation, similarity search) that are incurred at the time of use.
3. Failed Evaluations
If an evaluation fails due to a technical error on our side, the credits consumed are automatically refunded to your balance. No action is required on your part. You will receive an in-app notification and email (if enabled in your notification preferences) confirming the credit refund.
4. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- You retain access to all features and remaining credits until that date
- After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan
- No partial refund is issued for the remaining billing period
- You will receive a confirmation notification through your enabled channels (in-app and/or email)
5. EU Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. This right applies only if you have not used any credits from the subscription during the withdrawal period.
By using credits (running an evaluation) before the 14-day period expires, you expressly consent to the service being performed and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal for the credits consumed.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase. If eligible, the refund will be processed by Paddle (our payment processor) to your original payment method.
6. Payment Processing
All payments and refunds are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, acting as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, VAT calculation, and payment compliance. Any approved refund will be issued by Paddle.
